Elderly

Healthy ageing and caring

being able to stay healthy in later life is a crucial issue for all of us.  We know that older people often do not feel supported to look after their own health, particularly people with multiple long term conditions, including frailty.  This has a detrimental impact on their quality of life and health outcomes.

There's some help and support you can get for free that's available to everyone.  It is not means tested and it does not matter what your income is:

East Devon Dementia Map

One Eastern Devon and Age UK Exeter have been working together to create the Eastern Devon Dementia Map, a centralised, easy to navigate resource that brings together local dementia services, community groups, voluntary sector support, wellbeing activities, and key contacts.

The map is designed to make signposting easier and more consistent, ensuring patients and carers can quickly access the support they need.
